Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before applying for a loan from Uthali Company Limited.

By accessing and using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms:

1. Eligibility

To qualify for a loan with Uthali Company Limited, applicants must:

Be a Zambian civil servant (permanent, contract, or pensionable)

Be 18 years or older

Have a regular and verifiable monthly salary

Provide all required documentation (NRC, payslips, employment letter, etc.)

2. First-Time Application

All first-time applicants are required to complete their application in person at our office for verification and registration.

Subsequent loan applications can be done online.

3. Loan Approval

Loan approval is subject to:

Verification of employment and income

Internal creditworthiness assessment

Submission of all required documentation

Uthali Company Limited reserves the right to reject any application without obligation to disclose the reason.

4. Disbursement

Approved loans will be disbursed within 12 working hours to the applicant's bank or mobile money account.

5. Repayment Terms

Loan repayments are deducted directly from the borrower’s salary through payroll (PMEC)

Repayment frequency is monthly, aligned with the borrower's pay cycle

Late or missed payments may result in additional interest, penalties, or legal recovery measures

6. Interest and Fees

Interest rates and loan terms are clearly communicated before loan disbursement

Uthali does not charge hidden fees

The total cost of credit is disclosed in the loan agreement

7. Data Privacy

All personal and financial data collected is kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of loan processing and customer support, in accordance with Zambian data protection laws.

8. Amendments

Uthali Company Limited may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
